- Punjab government first started the electric bus program in Lahore in February, 2025. The initial phase included 27 buses but government said to add 500 more vehicles to the fleet till the August. The fare of these buses is fixed at Rs. 20 and Maryam Nawaz said that these buses include Free WiFi and mobile charging system for passenger’s convinience. Now, after the succesfull service in Lahore, Punjab government is spreading this service across the Punjab.
